Twelve Nights of Christmas Update

Hi Everyone
 
Time for an update for Twelve Nights of Christmas from Saturday December 13 to Wednesday 24 December.  The first two events are at The Oval and the rest is at our lovely Masterton Town Square.
 
The Working Party have been busy organising acts and performers and below is a preliminary timetable.
Friday 12 December    Movie in the Park "Polar Express" At The Oval
Saturday 13 December   Party in the Park at The Oval
Saturday 13 December   - 8.30 - 10.00 8.30pm  Mayoral opening, 
Saturday 13 December   - 8.40pm Rock n Roll for 30 minutes
Saturday 13 December   -  9.15pm Carols and brass band for 15 minutes
Saturday 13 December   -  9.30pm Light up the tree,
Saturday 13 December   -  9.40pm Carols and Masterton Brass Band for 20 minutes
Sunday 14 December  -  6.30-8.00 6.35pm  Douglas Park Bollywood for 20 mins.  
Sunday 14 December 7.00pm Kids Night. .  Circa Band for 1 hour
Monday 15 December  -  6.30-8.00 6.35pm Chanel College Cultural Group  for 40 minutes
Monday 15 December 7.15pm Wairarapa Youth Concert Band
Tuesday 16 December  - 6.30-8.00   Youth Council, SADD, RTR and YMCA
Wednesday 17 December  -  6.30-8.00   Jazz/Blues and Swing - Wairarapa Singers 
Wednesday 17 December  -     Night Market
Thursday 18 December  -  6.30-8.00   Porse and preschoolers  - library,fancy dress around story tellers,
Thursday 18 December 6.45pm Zumba
Thursday 18 December 7.10pm Zumba
Thursday 18 December 7.30pm Uke It Up for 30 minutes
Friday 19 December  -  6.30-8.00   JNS talent show
Saturday 20 December 5.30-8.00   Food and Beverage Night with Mastertons Got Talent
Sunday 21 December - 6.30-8.00 6.30pm Dancing with Scottish Country Dance Club, 
Sunday 21 December -  7.10pm Rimutaka Trail Band
Monday 22 December -  6.30-8.00 6.35pm Wairarapa Word  
Monday 22 December 7.15pm My Ska band  
Tuesday 23 December - 6.30-8.00 6.30pm Fern and thistle 6.30-7.10 TBC
Tuesday 23 December 7.15pm Combined Council of Churches for Carols
Wednesday 24 December - 6.30-8.00   Church Service  
 
What can you do:
  • Register your stall for the Night Market
  • Share any ideas you may have
  • Offer to help
  • Start knitting a yarn bomb item

What are we doing:

  • Organising acts and performers
  • Preparing marketing and advertising
  • Having wooden Xmas Trees built for decorating by schools, preschools and at the Town Square for the public
  • Contemplating a Yarn Bomb
  • Finalising the programme
